The Journey of a Bridal Dress

The Journey of a Bridal Dress
Posted on November 16th, 2022.

Our bridal loan program is off to a roaring start! Our first bride, Yiting, married the love of her life, Isreal, on July 13th.

Yiting came in April to the studio and picked out one of the available gowns we have for loan. She and Isreal are both students devoted to community service (Isreal through his church, Yiting through social work), and their budget did not include a costly gown for Yiting to walk down the aisle in. We were more than happy to help! As our first bride, we threw in the alterations as well.

Fine-tuning the dress

Yiting picked out one of the never-been-worn gowns donated through Maria’s Closet. Jennifer, one of our Angels, made the alterations and dressed the bride on her wedding day. Angel Heidi picked out and arranged the flowers, and Angel Gayle took care of Yiting’s makeup.

Taking a breath before the big moment

The bride was glowing, and the Angels were proud to have helped make the day extra special and memorable for the couple.

Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying their happiness!
